Dear Dance Family,
As we unveil our competition teams and levels for this season, we want to share some insights into the careful and thoughtful process behind our decisions. Our goal is to create an environment where each dancer can thrive, grow, and shine both individually and as part of a team!
Building our teams involves considering many factors such as technique, age, ability, and more. Every decision we make is aimed at the best interest of the group, ensuring that our teams are well-balanced and set up for success. This year, we've made a conscious effort to focus on quality over quantity by assigning fewer dances to each dancer. This approach allows us to dedicate more time to refining technique, fostering a deeper connection to the art of dance, and nurturing the spirit and camaraderie of our teams.
We are confident in the potential of our dancers to reach new heights, and we believe that by emphasizing quality and focused training, we are paving the way for their continued success. While our team placements are final and not open for discussion, we understand the importance of giving you time to absorb and reflect on these decisions. We kindly ask that you take 48 hours to digest the placements before reaching out with any questions. After this period, we are happy to address any questions you may have.
Additionally, if you find that your dancer is over committed and you would like to drop a dance, please let us know. Also know that our staff will make the necessary adjustments by selecting which dance(s) can be dropped, after we have time to review their schedules and consult with the choreographers. Some dances require a certain number of dancers to be staged properly. For these reasons, these decisions will no longer be made by the dancer.

Dress code
We hope you're all having a fantastic summer! As we gear up for the upcoming dance season, we wanted to touch base regarding our dress code for classes, especially for our Company dancers.
After some reflection on last season, we've decided to streamline our dress code to make it simpler and more consistent. This year, we'll be requiring all dancers to wear all black attire to their Company and regular classes (instead of just rehearsals). This change comes because dancers were confused what constituted a “rehearsal” and then would not wear black at all. They will continue with their ballet uniform and color. This change will not only make our Company dancers easily recognizable and stand out in class but also create a more professional and cohesive look for our team!
We believe that a uniformed appearance not only enhances the overall aesthetic of our performances but also makes it much easier for our instructors to focus on perfecting choreography.
With that being said, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Company logo and apparel line! The store will be open a few times per year, with the current window closing on August 31st. While these items are not mandatory (any all black attire is acceptable) it’s a fun way to show your support for the team!

Company fees
Each routine is $50/dancer and due by July 1st. Any fees not paid by July 1st will be automatically charged. For Pierce's dances, the cost will be $65/dancer. Extra routine fees will also process on july 1st.
